Day 1: Tirat Carmel to Dor
The week begins with our arrival by car or train at the Carmel Beach Train Station, from where we’ll take a taxi or bus to Tirat Carmel to start our journey. We’ll walk along the picturesque beach to the Atlit Citadel, a Templar stronghold, we will explore the nearby Datura Citadel and beach sites, and then proceed to Dor Beach. Here, we’ll acquaint ourselves with the bays and the ancient city of Dor, spending the night in a resort village with an opportunity for sea swimming. The day ends with an evening lecture on the Templar Order.
Day 2: Dor to Olga
Departing from Dor, our path continues southward along the stunning Israeli coastline, reaching the beach area of Kibbutz Maagan Michael and observing the islands off the coast. Our journey takes us next to the port of Gisar a Zarka and Nahal Taninim, leading to a mid-day arrival in Caesarea, a key Roman, Byzantine and Crusader city. After exploring Caesarea’s impressive ruins, we’ll head south to the Hadera Power Station and the Givat Olga Neighborhood for our overnight stay, accompanied by an evening lecture on heraldry and the symbolism of knights.

Day 3: Olga to Gaash
This day’s trek unveils the Israeli coast’s most breathtaking sections, featuring cliffs towering tens of meters above the sea. We’ll walk
from Olga towards Sedot Yam, passing areas north of Netanya, and traversing the beaches and parks of Netanya city to the rural fields of Gaash and nearby Shefayim. Our accommodation will be in one of the area’s guesthouses, with an evening lecture on the legends of the Holy Grail.
Day 4: Gaash to Jaffa
Our pilgrimage continues along the coastal cliffs to the Apollonia Fortress, the most picturesque of the Crusader fortresses. We’ll then journey through Sidney Ali and Herzliya beaches en route to Tel Aviv, crossing the Yarkon River into the bustling city. A walk along Tel Aviv’s beaches and promenade leads us to Jaffa, concluding our second week with a nourishing experience for the soul in the old city.
