Description
White Brotherhood Bulgaria Tour
Join us for an unforgettable journey into the stunning beauty of the Rila Mountains, where you’ll immerse yourself in authentic Bulgarian village life, folklore, and the sacred dance and music of the White Brotherhood. This gnostic mystical school draws its teachings from ancient civilizations, Thracian mysteries, and Bogomil mystic Christianity. Alongside teachers from the White Brotherhood, musicians, and spiritual friends from around the globe, you’ll embark on a transformative experience.
Our journey will take us through to stunning nature of the Rila Mountains, culminating in a two-day excursion (including accommodation) to the Seven Lakes area towards the week’s end. This spot serves as the annual gathering point for the White Brotherhood, where they celebrate their connection with the universe through sacred dances and music. We’ll join them at their camp and partake in the Sacred dance and activities. Additionally, we’ll have the chance to bathe in hot springs, explore folklore, trek nature trails in the mountains, and relax by the lake amidst good company.
The movement practices we’ll engage in are experiential, gentle, and accessible to all. However, reaching the brotherhood requires traversing mountain paths, necessitating good health and normal walking ability. While not lengthy, these paths include climbs and demand effort. Watching terrain videos and reading articles about the Seven Lakes can provide helpful insights before the journey.
